This week’s Risk & Repeat podcast discusses how Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Protocol has seen a growing number of threat activity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Already a popular vector among ransomware gangs, RDP has received even more attention lately as usage of the protocol, as well as other remote access software, has skyrocketed. In this episode, SearchSecurity editors Rob Wright and Alex Culafi discuss the rise in threats to remote workers, what the latest data says about the ransomware landscape, and how organizations should address and improve RDP security.
