How do you show your appreciation for Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky following its massive Next update? By building a massive face of creator Sean Murray, apparently.
That’s what Roland Oberheim has done anyway (via Eurogamer), planting Murray’s boat race (that’s not a typo; it’s cockney rhyming slang for face, okay?) on one of the millions of planet surfaces found in Hello Games’ space exploration romp. It’s so big that you can view it from the atmosphere.
Oberheim cobbled together Murray’s face using various floor panels that come packaged with No Man’s Sky’s building tools as standard.
The best part is that Murray himself has seen Oberheim’s creation, which prompted the following reaction:
‘The only way this could have been better is if I had come across it by accident whilst playing the game.’
To top it all off, you can actually go and see it for yourself without much trouble. You just need to enter a specific glyph sequence using the game’s fast-travel portal system, and bob’s your uncle.
We’ve included a shot of the glyphs below for anyone who fancies admiring Murray’s massive mug themselves.
