Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s multiplayer mode is free to play on PC all weekend, Treyarch has announced, letting players get a taste of the game without having to spend a penny.

To get involved, all you need to do is download the Multiplayer Starter Pack from Steam and you’ll be able to play for free until 9pm BST on Sunday.

There are some restrictions, though: The Multiplayer Starter Pack does not allow players to Prestige or play custom games. To access those you’ll need to upgrade to the full game, which is available on Steam for a reduced £23.99 until Monday.

Meanwhile, players across all formats are able to earn Double XP in the game’s Zombies and Multiplayer modes until 6pm BST on Monday. If you’re looking to level up ahead of Infinite Warfare, now’s the time to do it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
